Our company’s true passion is to help homebuyers navigate the perils of purchasing a home and to equip them with the education and confidence to make their largest investment successful.
It doesn’t just stop there – I believe a safe and healthy home requires ongoing check-ups even past the first home inspection. Just like my car needs an oil change to mitigate the risk of expensive repairs, my home also needs regular check-ups to mitigate the risk of costly repairs and/or health and safety hazards.
I am the founder, Jon Musselman, and come from a third-generation family-owned construction company known for craftsmanship and attention to detail. In 2003, I completed my Bachelors’ Degree in Technology Education at California University of Pennsylvania. When I joined the work force I worked full time for the family business and worked extensively in construction, from framing to finish carpentry. After buying and selling several of my own homes, I realized how critical the home inspector was in the home buying process. With my experience in construction, degree in technology education, and passion for helping others, I was led to start Musselman Home Inspection in 2011.
My company is known for patience, attention to detail, and emphasis on truly ensuring the new homebuyer understands the components/systems that make up their future home. These core competencies are seen throughout every member of the Musselman Home Inspection team.
Our home inspectors are all members in good standing with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) or International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). Inspections are conducted in accordance with the ASHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics, a copy of these standards are available at www.homeinspector.com.
If you have any questions about our process or would like to talk to me personally, please don’t hesitate to call or email. When you have an inspection with our company, you join our family; and for me, family is first
